Founder & Principal
David is the founder and principal of inov8t Consulting Services. He has over 25 years of experience in the housing industry and is proficient in all phases of residential construction. David specializes in starting up operations in customer service, warranty, and repairs and maintenance. His proficiencies include settlement negotiations, building forensics and advanced technological solutions to increase employee productivity while reducing costs. David founded inov8t Consulting Services with the purpose of helping companies become self-sufficient through a suite of services & products that provide clients with all of the tools needed to run an award winning service organization without the need for large, top-heavy teams. David is a firm believer that a company can enjoy a best-in-class service operation for fraction of the cost with the right processes, technology and people in place. The key is discipline. Before founding inov8t, David was the National Director of Repairs and Maintenance for Starwood Waypoint Residential Trust, where he built a national program based on technology and efficiency. His efforts helped to take the company from a small start-up to a publicly traded billion dollar REIT. Prior to Waypoint, David worked in the Home Building Industry including nationally recognized builders such as Toll Brothers Inc. and Centex Homes. An industry enthusiast on the topic of warranty operations, David has moderated or presented at numerous Eliant National Roundtable conferences, Pacific Coast Builders conferences, BIA seminars and insurance conferences.
